We Have an XML Editor, but You Can Still Write in Microsoft Word
XML Editor Doc-To-Help 2009 boasts a new built-in editor, but it still has the great Microsoft Word support that has made it famous since 1991. If you like to work in Word, you can still do so and you use Doc-To-Help to manage you project and publish outputs. Doc-To-Help even installs a toolbar in Word to help you along the way.
Other tools require you to convert to their format, but Doc-To-Help gives you the choice. You can keep working in Word or convert to XML. It's up to you!

Nicky Bleiel Want Embedded Help, but Don't Have the Resources? Now You Do...
Nicky Bleiel, Senior Information Developer

The best software user assistance is so elegant that users don't need to look for it. One of the best ways to "answer the question before it is asked" is to provide embedded help right in the interface. Unfortunately, developing and maintaining embedded help traditionally requires a great deal of Software and Information Development time to develop the custom mappings and make changes to the user interface.

Fortunately, ComponentOne is always looking for new methods to save you development time and effort and we've developed a way to create and map embedded, dynamic help that streamlines the entire process. The ComponentOne DynamicHelp control can be incorporated into the user interface of any application developed in Microsoft Visual Studio.NET, and the mapping of the interface to the Help file can be completely managed by the Information Development team. The Help file can be any compiled HTML Help file (.chm) or an uncompiled HTML help project. Information Developers have been waiting years for this technology - don't wait any longer to dramatically improve your user's experience.
