9:30 - 10:00AM: Welcome and registration
10:00 - 10:10AM: Brief overview of ComponentOne and benefits of using controls.
10:10 - 11:00AM: Demos of ComponentOne controls in the following platforms: Silverlight, WPF, and WinForms.
11:00 - 12:30PM: Demonstrations on developing real world business applications using ComponentOne's grids, charts, and other popular controls. There will be three demonstrations to choose among; one for each platform: WinForms, Silverlight and WPF.
12:30PM - 1:00PM: Lunch provided and then everyone will reconvene for a brief conclusion presentation.

About the Presenter

Jacob Chirayil has taken his knowledge of UNIX and C to start his very first technology project. A Mathematics major, Jacob entered the computing world in the mid-1990’s and has traveled throughout India pursuing his passion for technology. For the past 6 years Jacob has worked at GrapeCity India, where he has had various responsibilities on the ComponentOne team. Currently he manages the testing and support team for ComponentOne development tools. Prior to GrapeCity, Jacob worked as a Systems Analyst for GRIC and did ERP customization and implementation for Fritz. He started his professional career as a programmer and analyst, coding in UNIX/C, FoxPro, Visual Basic and VC++.

Jacob is originally from Kerala. He is a graduate of St. Berchmans College and is married to Shiny, who works for Oxfam, an NGO funding organization. Jacob welcomes the opportunity to share his experiences with building enterprise solutions using ComponentOne products.
