40+ Chart Types

Choose from the standard 2D chart types including bar, line, pie, area, scatter point or select from more advanced chart types such as Gantt, polar, hi-lo or candle. Chart also includes many 3D charts such as the doughnut, ribbon, and bar charts. See the Chart Types page to see all available types.
12 Built-in Themes

Quickly and easily customize the appearance of your chart application using any combination of the 12 built-in themes and the 22 color palettes. Themes apply to the entire chart area whereas palettes apply to just the chart elements (bars, points, pie slices, etc).
Visual Effects

Choose from one of the many color schemes for applying color generation to the data series or point. Enhance the 3D chart element's appearance by applying ambient, directional, point, and spot lighting to change the effects of the light source.
Labels and Tooltips

Highlight important data points and provide valuable data information by adding data labels or tooltips on each data point or pie slice. Any UI elements can be used as labels and tooltips allowing full customization.
Combine Multiple Charts

Chart allows you to combine various chart types, on a single plot, to create dramatic data presentation.
Trend Lines

Analyze your charted data with trend lines. Chart supports several automatic trend lines including polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, power, fourier, averages, minimums and maximums.
Axis Scrolling

Use the Axis.Scale and Axis.Value properties to enable scrolling along the chart axes. This is helpful when you have large amounts of X or Y data to display.
Customizable Axes

Chart gives you many axis options such as time display, logarithmic scales, axis scrolling, custom axis labels and support for multiple axes. Place multiple, dependent axes to the top, bottom, left, or right of the chart.
MouseOver Effects

Make your chart come alive when the user hovers over the plot elements with interactive MouseOver effects . Chart gives you the control to apply a rotation transform, color change, or a storyboard animation on chart elements.
Supports WPF Animation

Add animation effects such as spin, rotation, exploding, and more using all of the standard available WPF animation techniques. Play the animations on load or when the user interacts with the chart.
Customizable Plot Elements

Use any custom object templates as your chart elements such as cylinders, spheres and cubes. Apply custom templates to change the symbol or connection appearance.
Graphical Effects

Add flair to your chart by enabling bitmap effects such as bevel, shadow, blur, glow, and emboss.

Easily bind the Chart control to a data table, collection of business objects, or XML file by setting a few properties.
XBAP Support

Chart is fully compatible with the new XBAP deployment capabilities of Windows Presentation Foundation. The XBAP deployment allows publishing to the client’s (supported) browser for a full featured application without a Windows installation.
