Comprehensive Training Programs for Doc-To-Help Users
ComponentOne's Trainers conduct online training over the course four days,
covering three separate modules: Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced. You can take these classes as one package or individually. These classes
are
conducted over WebEx and last approximately four hours each day. You are free to
attend from anywhere, provided you have a reliable internet connection.
Introductory Online Training
The Introductory course lasts two days and will teach you the basics of navigating Doc-To-Help's
interface and show you best practices for creating high-quality Help files, Web
Content, and printed documentation. This course is
designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to be productive with
Doc-To-Help. No prior Doc-To-Help experience is necessary.
Intermediate Online Training
The Intermediate course lasts one day and covers more advanced techniques. Among other things, you will learn template and
style sheet concepts, theme customization, style customization, multimedia
integration, and high level single-sourcing techniques.
Students in this course should have a working knowledge of Doc-To-Help. It
is recommended that you attend the Introductory course first.
Advanced Online Training
The Advanced course lasts one day and covers technical topics for advanced users,
such as creating and maintaining a Modular Help project, Team Authoring Support
fundamentals, and documenting APIs and SDKs with Doc-To-Help's Sandcastle
Plug-in. This course is for power users and it
is recommended that students take the Introductory and Intermediate courses first.
Schedule and Pricing
ComponentOne offers different online courses for Doc-To-Help 2005 through 2007 and Doc-To-Help 2008
through 2009. The prices for both are the same, but the schedules differ.

- Classes for versions 2005 - 2007 are scheduled on the third week of each
month.
