Handle multiple windows in your Silverlight application with ComponentOne DockControl™ for Silverlight. Similar to the docking system in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, DockControl delivers dockable, floating, and tabbed windows. You can also auto-hide sections and easily style the DockControl.

  • Docking Diamond

    DockControl enables you to provide docking and floating of multiple tabs (or windows) within your application. Dock indicators appear when you drag tabs over dock zones signaling to dock. By default, DockControl uses a docking diamond UI as seen in Microsoft Visual Studio.

  • Custom Docking

    Customize the docking behavior for a more natural style of docking as seen in Microsoft Expression Blend.

  • Floating Windows

    Allow a window to float above your application in separate windows.  

  • Tabbed Windows

    Documents opened in instances of the editor are automatically arranged on tabbed panes.

  • Sliding (Auto Hide)

    See more of your UI at one time with sliding using the pushpin. When sliding, tabs slide in and out mimicking the auto hide behavior seen in Visual Studio. This allows users to minimize not-in-use tabs along the edges of the control.

  • Rich Programmatic API

    For complete flexibility and to restrict behavior, the docking state of any dockable window can be controlled programmatically through the rich programmatic API.

  • Easily Change Colors with ClearStyle

    DockControl supports ComponentOne ClearStyle™ technology which allows you to easily change control brushes without having to override templates. By just setting a few brush properties in Visual Studio you can quickly style each part of the docking controls.
