Scheduler

Implement Outlook-style scheduling in your apps with ComponentOne Scheduler™ for WPF. This out-of-the-box scheduling solution comes complete with five built-in views, recurring appointments, reminders, labels, data binding, grouping, import/export capabilities and much more. Developing a scheduling app has never been easier!

Features

  • Five Built-in Default Views

The C1Scheduler control includes five built-in default views, allowing you to offer a variety of ways for users to view their schedules. View the schedule by day, week, work week, month, or time line. You can also create your own custom views.

  • Complete Outlook-style Scheduling

Schedule one-time, all day, or recurring appointments with reminders, labels, and availability status just as in Microsoft Outlook. Stay organized with categories, resources, and contacts linked to each appointment.

  • Reminders

C1Scheduler can display reminder dialogs at specified times before an appointment occurs. Users have the option to dismiss one or more appointments, open the appointment, or reset the reminder to appear again later (snooze).

  • Resource Grouping

Group appointments by contacts, resources or categories to create a multi-column layout where each column corresponds to a different item. Navigate through any number of grouped items with ease. Simply drag an appointment to reassign it to a different resource, category or contact. Grouping is supported in all scheduler views.

  • Time Line View

New in 2011 v2, C1Scheduler supports a Time Line view for displaying appointments in a horizontal layout. This view is useful when trying to see multiple groups at once to schedule a meeting. In this view the time is displayed horizontally and groups are arranged vertically, much like the ‘Schedule’ view in Microsoft Outlook 2010.

  • Calendar Navigation

Synchronize the C1Scheduler to a calendar control such as C1Calendar to select a specific date or date range. The Scheduler can display any number of dates selected.

  • Custom Views

You can create and use custom schedule views in addition to any of the built-in default views.

  • Dialog Customization

Customize all of the Scheduler dialogs by using any of the available source XAML files to tweak the layout, style and logic. Add your own custom data fields and create your own look for Appointment, Recurrence, Reminders, and other dialog boxes.

  • Data Binding

Use standard ADO.NET data binding, custom object collections or the built-in XML data source to easily save and load appointments, categories, contacts, labels, resource, and appointment status.

  • Import and Export Data

Using the built-in data source, save or load data in any supported format (binary, XML, or iCalendar).

  • Localization Support

Scheduler for WPF supports localized resource files added to your project. You can conveniently provide C1Scheduler in multiple languages by translating all strings used in the control such as month names, weekday names, and UI strings found in all of the embedded dialogs. Scheduler for WPF comes with 15 international localized resource files including: Arabic, Danish, German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Norwegian, Portuguese, English, Russian and Swedish.

  • Eight Built-in Themes

Effortlessly customize the appearance of the C1Scheduler with built-in Microsoft Office, Vista, Media and Dusk themes. Or create your own theme based on the included themes.

  • Easily Change Colors with ClearStyle

Scheduler for WPF supports ComponentOne ClearStyle™ technology which allows you to easily change control brushes without having to override templates. By just setting a few brush properties in Visual Studio you can quickly style each part of the control.

  • XBAP Support

Scheduler is fully compatible with the XBAP deployment capabilities of Windows Presentation Foundation. The XBAP deployment allows publishing to the client’s (supported) browser for a full featured application without a Windows installation. Appointment and reminder dialogs use C1Window for displaying pop-ups within the browser application.
