ComponentOne Studio for SharePoint is a growing collection of Web Parts that make it possible to create useful data portals in minutes without code. All you need to do is install the Studio and insert a ComponentOne Web Part onto your page.
One installation wizard installs all the Web Parts across your farm. They will be automatically added to SharePoint’s Web Part gallery and you can add them to any page.
If you don't want to install Web Parts on your server or if you are using Office 365, Studio for SharePoint is available as a Sandbox solution (.wsp). All you need to do is upload the file to your sandbox gallery.
Use On-Board Designers (simple dialogs that open in the Web Part zone) to select a data source and configure appearance. These designers are available for all our Web Parts and share a common framework, so they are 100% consistent.
Choose to allow end-users to use the On-Board Designers themselves. They will be able to configure the parts themselves and create their own personalized versions of every page you design.
Pick from any list (native list or BCS source) in a tree view that represents your site. You can even access lists on other sites.
Our web parts are all Microsoft Silverlight-based. Allow users to see the data they want at once and scroll, filter, or group, without lengthy post-backs or page refreshes.
All of the ComponentOne Web Parts share the same common infrastructure, so they can easily communicate. Connecting two or more Web Parts is as easy as setting a few preferences in the On-Board Designer.
The On-Board Designers make creating and configuring ComponentOne Web Parts a simple matter of pointing-and-clicking. But, if you need to go beyond the designer options, we provide a free SDK to help you create extensions. See the developer center to learn more.
In just a few minutes, insert a ComponentOne Web Part into your page, connect to your data, and configure your view. Changing the view is just as easy. You get a page that would take developers weeks to code. Studio for SharePoint will pay for itself the first time you use it on a typical project.
Studio for SharePoint requires SharePoint 2010. If you do not have SharePoint 2010, you can download Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 here (it's free!).

If you use a third-party host, Microsoft Office 365, or otherwise have no access to install Web Parts on a server, we have Sandbox solutions available. Upload them through your browser and they will be deployed to a specific site collection. Contact us to learn more.
