The 2011 release of ComponentOne Studio for SharePoint delivers Web Parts optimized for speed and presentation in SharePoint 2010. We have improved data access, performance and usability. We even threw in two image viewing Web Parts.
ComponentOne Studio for SharePoint is designed specifically for SharePoint 2010. No matter which version of SharePoint 2010 you have, rest assured, our Web Parts will work.
All Studio for SharePoint Web Parts have a context menu with a Print button. This is espcially usefull when you want to create a report out of a grid view.
Connect to any SharePoint list (or list view) or external list by navigating to it through the On-Board Designer. Even connect to lists on other sites.
Every Web part included in ComponentOne Studio for SharePoint can be customized using Microsoft’s Managed Extensibility Framework (MEF). All you need to do is create .XAP file, upload it to a library, and point to it through the On-Board Designer. Learn more about MEF here.
Our Web Parts are completely reengineered for SharePoint 2010 and load instantly.
The On-Board Designers now allow you to send data to or receive data from other Web Parts and choose an event to trigger when the connection is made. In previous versions, connection code had to be supplied.
The DataGrid now allows more control of row and column formatting with settings such as sizing, format, and word wrapping. The ability to freeze columns and rows is also now included.
The Chart now allows more control of axis and series formatting so that you can make the chart look exactly how you want.
Now chart more than one series per axis on the Chart Web Part.
Studio for SharePoint includes two image viewing Web Parts, CoverFlow and ImageViewer, that allow you to view images in new, useful ways. CoverFlow displays a SharePoint picture library in an interactive iTunes-style cover flow gallery and ImageViewer displays an image with an interactive magnifying glass that lets you zoom in anywhere.
Studio for SharePoint requires SharePoint 2010. If you do not have SharePoint 2010, you can download Microsoft SharePoint Foundation 2010 here (it's free!).

If you use a third-party host, Microsoft Office 365, or otherwise have no access to install Web Parts on a server, we have Sandbox solutions available. Upload them through your browser and they will be deployed to a specific site collection. Contact us to learn more.
