Embed Microsoft Excel® spreadsheet functionality into your Windows 8 applications. Several Microsoft Excel document formats are supported, including Excel 97 - Excel 2003 (XLS), Excel 2007 - Excel 2010 XML (XLSX), comma-delimited (CSV), and tab-delimited (TXT). Open an entire multiple-sheet Excel file into the Spread component, or specify a particular sheet (either by name or number) and open it into a specific sheet in Spread.

Spread supports the Column, Line, and Win/Loss sparkline types and import/export of these sparklines in Excel 2010 files. Rapid Input Mode

If editing mode was triggered by typing a character on the keyboard, the user can still use the navigation keys (such as, arrow keys, TAB, PGUP, PGDN, HOME, END) to end the editing mode and move to active cell. Rapid Input Mode

Split Box

To see more than one copy of a worksheet in Excel use the split box to divide the screen into panes. Choose from three options:
  • Always - Displays the split box all the time
  • Never - Does not display the split box
  • AsNeeded - Split box will be hidden once the viewport was split

Zoom

You can allow the user to change the scale of the display of the control, in other words to zoom in or zoom out. This allows the user to zoom in or out by pressing the CTRL key and turning the mouse wheel. The user can zoom in up to 400% and out to 10% of the default display.
