We have taken our ASP.NET suite and rewritten it based on our new Wijmo client-side framework. Interactive HTML5 Charts

What makes these charts superior is that they’re powered by Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). SVG is a perfect for creating rich and interactive visualizations in HTML5. The charts are built on our core Wijmo technology - giving you the best data-visualization tools for the web. Some benefits of charting with SVG include true client-side charting, DOM-friendly charts, hardware accelerated graphics, interactive animations and tooltips, and streaming visualizations. High-performance jQuery Grid

This tabular datagrid allows users to interactively select, edit, sort, scroll through, filter, and group data. It’s highly customizable and can be used to better understand and visualize data more effectively.

Enhanced Support for SQL Server Reporting Services

The new C1RdlReport component provides support for SQL Server Reporting Services to ComponentOne ReportViewer for ASP.NET. Now you can effortlessly integrate your existing reports with the full ComponentOne Reporting suite for added previewing, printing and exporting functionality.

• Import your existing SSRS report definitions (RDL) into C1RdlReport to programmatically generate your reports.
• C1RdlReport exposes the full RDL object model allowing you to modify existing reports or even create new RDL reports completely in code. This is not possible through Microsoft Reporting Services alone.
• C1RdlReport provides a self-contained RDL reporting solution without external dependencies such as the need for a Microsoft Reporting Services server.

Designed as a drop-in replacement for the Microsoft ASP.NET GridView control, ComponentOne GridView for ASP.NET includes additional features like built-in AJAX, row filtering, virtual scrolling, grouping, and more. Easily port your existing GridView code to C1GridView without having to do a rewrite. C1GridView also retains all the functionality of the classic C1WebGrid control, so upgrading from C1WebGrid is also possible with minimal changes.
• Improved C1WebToolbar control: C1Toolbar
  ToolBar for ASP.NET has been completely refractored to meet the needs of today's Web environment. Replace your previous ToolBar control with the new ASP.NET AJAX control for more interaction on the client-side, semantic markup, enhanced performance, styling, and a smaller footprint.
• Improved WebEditor control: C1Editor

• Improved WebInput controls: C1CurrencyInput, C1DateInput, C1MaskedInput, C1NumericInput, and C1PercentInput
  ComponentOne Input for ASP.NET has the same object model as the classic ComponentOne WebInput for ASP.NET. With no effort, you can replace WebInput for ASP.NET controls with Input for ASP.NET controls and experience increased client-side interaction, better performance and styling, a smaller footprint, and more.

ComponentOne Studio for ASP.NET introduces a new line of ASP.NET controls in the 2008 v3 release. The new controls share basic features such as custom CSS styling, predefined styles, rich client-side object models, AJAX support, and extensive design-time support.

While these new controls replace the old ones, ComponentOne will continue maintenance and support on the old WebMenus and WebBars (AKA C1WebCommand) for the next year. The ASP.NET controls have been completely rewritten on a new, lightweight framework so the available features and code syntax will not be the exact same. This means there is no available migration or conversion utility to go from C1WebMenu to C1Menu, for example.

Just Released: ASP.NET Controls Built on a New Lightweight Framework

• Improved C1WebTreeView control: C1TreeView
  Display items in a hierarchical tree structure with ComponentOne TreeView for ASP.NET. The C1TreeView control is a straightforward replacement for the classic C1WebTreeView control. TreeView for ASP.NET still supports the classic features in addition to over 20 expand/collapse animations, stylish themes, and the ever popular drag-and-drop functionality.
• Improved C1WebMenu control: C1Menu
  Add attractive menus to your Web site with the ComponentOne Menu for ASP.NET. The C1Menu control includes several new and unique features including: more animation effects, item templates, and interactive item scrolling. With the templates feature you can place other controls within the menu easily at design time. Item scrolling lets you have more menu items than fit the desired region while client-side interaction allows users to scroll additional items into view. It's very smart. And like its predecessor, C1WebMenu, C1Menu can be fully used as a context menu.
• Improved C1WebTabStrip control: C1TabControl and C1TabStrip
  Easily organize and navigate through Web content with ComponentOne TabControl and ComponentOne TabStrip for ASP.NET. The classic C1WebTabStrip was a fine control, but it was never intended to host full pages of content on each tab; it was more of a menu panel. Nor did it provide the practical ability to have multiple rows of tabs. Now you can finally accomplish these features and more with the C1TabControl and C1TabStrip control. C1TabControl is a set of tabs with content panels whereas C1TabStrip is just the tabs.
• New control: C1HeaderContentControl
  Easily layout and display blocks of content with ComponentOne HeaderContentControl for ASP.NET. This control is comprised of two elements: a header bar and a content panel. The header can be horizontal or vertical and the content panel can be located on either side of the header. Use one of the five built-in designs and in seconds you've added some flair around your content.
• New control: C1Expander
  ComponentOne Expander for ASP.NET is similar to ComponentOne HeaderContentControl, but provides the ability to expand and contract the content panel with 26 built-in animation effects. Using multiple stacked C1Expander controls you can create navigation that is similar to the classic C1WebTopicBar control.
• New control: C1Accordion
  Provide multiple panes of content, but display them only one at a time with ComponentOne Accordion for ASP.NET. The C1Accordion control supports data-binding, four different expand directions, over 30 possible animations, and the ability to fully customize the header and content areas. Developers currently using C1WebTopicBar may prefer C1Accordion over C1Expander.
• New control: C1MultiPage
  Provide multiple pages of content all within one control with ComponentOne MultiPage for ASP.NET. To flip through the pages, use the built-in navigation buttons, provide your own, or turn on the AutoPlay feature to watch this done automatically. You can easily add content to each page at design time. C1MultiPage can also display external Web pages or load content on demand for faster page loading times. No classic ComponentOne control was ever quite like this one.
• New control: C1NavPanel
  Display menu information in a Microsoft Outlook style navigation panel with ComponentOne NavPanel for ASP.NET. Previously, you could come close using C1WebTopicBar, but now this control is ready to go with very little setup required. You can display any Web-based content in C1NavPanel's panes including external pages by just supplying a URL. The key difference between C1NavPanel and C1Accordion is the bottom panel which displays buttons of hidden panes.
• Improved C1WebDialog control: C1Window
  Create robust, interactive, completely customizable dialog windows with ComponentOne Window for ASP.NET. The C1Window control is a straightforward replacement for the classic C1WebDialog control. This special type of dialog window can be created on the client-side or server-side to display information and receive input from the user. C1Window includes several new and unique features including: expanding and collapsing dialog windows, animation effects, and flexible dialog window positioning.
• New control: C1Slider
  Provide a simple, familiar way for end-users to choose a value in a predefined range with ComponentOne Slider for ASP.NET. With rich built-in accessibility features including keyboard and mouse wheel support, the C1Slider control enables you to enhance the end-user experience. Slider for ASP.NET also provides the ability to fully customize the look of the slider with CSS supported styling, built-in Visual Styles, and vertical and horizontal layout options.
• Improved C1WebSplitter control: C1Splitter
  Create resizable panels in your applications without using any resizing code using ComponentOne Splitter for ASP.NET. The C1Splitter control is a straightforward replacement for the classic C1WebSplitter control. With a rich client-side object model, the C1Splitter control delivers more client-side interactivity. Fully customize the look of the splitter with CSS supported styling, mouse over styles, ToolTips, and images.
