What's New in Prior Releases?

Studio for iPhone 2010 v2

iPhone4 and iPad Support

First, we expanded Studio for iPhone to support the top devices on the market (Android phones, Palm Pre). Now, we have made the controls even more flexible so that they work on the new iPhone4 and iPad! With these improvements you can target nearly all of the top hand-held devices in the market when building mobile Web apps.

New Samples

  • AdventureWorks Mobile: Just like our ASP.NET AJAX sample app, we have built a full mobile Web app against the AdventureWorks SQL Server sample database. The app features a product catalog and integrates with the Membership from the full site.
  • Netflix: Using RSS feeds from Netflix, we built a mobile browser for the top 10 lists on Netflix. It shows how easy Studio for iPhone makes building Web apps with external data sources.
