List subscribers range from certified Doc-To-Help consultants and trainers to users who have just started working with a newly downloaded evaluation copy. Discussions on the WexTech-L list range from quick, simple question-and-answer exchanges to lively threads on Help authoring, printing manuals, and other topics of interest. On an average day, about 20-30 messages are sent to the WexTech-L list. You can search the list archives and read messages without subscribing to the list; however, you must subscribe to the list to post messages, or to receive messages via e-mail. Subscribing to the list is free and available to anyone with an e-mail address. Subscribers can choose to receive all list messages as soon as they are sent, receive a daily digest containing all messages for the day, or receive no messages and only read desired messages using a web browser. You can subscribe, unsubscribe, or change your WexTech-L settings using e-mail commands or with your web browser. To subscribe using e-mail, send an e-mail message, from the e-mail account you wish to subscribe, to join-wextech-l@lists.wextech.com (Note that is a lower-case "L" in "wextech-l", not a "one" or an upper-case "i".) The text of the message you send doesn't matter; it can be blank if you choose. After successfully joining the list you will receive a confirmation message with instructions and information. While the WexTech-L list is intended primarily for users to communicate with each other, WexTech does monitor the list and contributes to some discussions. However, this is not an official WexTech support forum, and WexTech does not moderate postings to the list and is not responsible for their content. Subscribing to the digest, like the list, is free and available to anyone with an e-mail address. Instead of sending you each list posting as a separate e-mail message, the digest automatically combines the day's postings and sends them out in one message. Thus, digest subscribers receive one large message a day; regular subscribers receive a number of smaller messages. Note, however, that regular list subscribers receive their messages immediately; digest subscribers must put up with a delay until the day's digest is sent out.
